Ei-Ei-O
We visited the Old MacDonald Farm today in Humble. It started off a bit chilly but turned into a beautiful day! David enjoyed looking at all the animals and petting the goats, deer, and potbelly pigs. We rode the train and even took a pony ride! We wound up our time by eating lunch (while dodging the swarming bees) and picking out a pumpkin before heading home. All the running around outside put D to sleep almost as soon as we got in the car--despite my efforts to keep him awake. (which concerns were proven valid when D took a 20 minute nap in the car and would not go back to sleep for his usual 2+ hour nap at home) Fun day!

I'm still sad that I had to leave the snack trap behind because of the bees! That was crazy! But we had a fantastic time getting to spend time with everyone. Don't you hate it when that nap thing happens? I try so hard to keep him awake sometimes, but it doesn't always work out, like you said...
