revisiting an old haunt

We celebrated a birthday with a friend a few days ago.  The party was held at the Redd School.  What memories flooded back... (I taught there for a year about 6 years ago)  It was a fantastic place to have a party!  The weather was cool but warmed up a bit and we were able to enjoy horseback riding, playground fun, yummy snacks and birthday cake!  We knew it was time to leave when Elizabeth was screaming all through the "Happy Birthday" rendition.  After her bite of cake, we headed home again.  I found out later that D was blowing out the candles with the birthday girl. :)  A was rather cranky too but we shuffled her around and kept her moderately calm.
