As we undertake to keep up with the rest of the world and technology... we will attempt to keep our thoughts penned regularly for you here on our blog. Most importantly, we would like this to be a reflection of the love of our Faithful Saviour, Jesus Christ.

It is the thought that counts

David and I were praying at bedtime the other night. It was his turn to pray. "Thank you, Jesus, for Mommy. She is very beautiful...............and she lets me play games on her phone!"

(Hah! I was so touched and then the truth came out- even if he has only played on my phone maybe once every six months...)

24 months - February/March

These past two years have been busy ones.  Let's just document the "goings-on" of the past month.

Mealtime is still a struggle (no variety) but yogurt is always a favorite and despite the mess, you feed yourself pretty well.

You love to help with your sister but sometimes the sweetness just isn't appreciated! :)

Other times, your two are two peas in a pod together (Abigail is very big for her age and you are tall but still look very petite).

Like your brother, you like to play dress up...

Speaking of brother, he is your greatest playmate and friend!  You may run shrieking away from him, but you two love to wrestle, dress up, zoom cars, and get into all sorts of mischief together.

There have been moments of despair...and moments of joy...

You love your baths!  And it is even extra special when it involves bubbles and decorating your Daddy's head with them.

Still not too fond of having your picture taken ~ so often we see you either shooing the camera away or hiding behind your hands.  Sometimes we catch a great smile though...

What sweetness there is as you fold your little hands in prayer and say, "Dear Jesus...Amen!"

Picture time with the siblings.

Pictures with Mommy.

You love shoes!!!  Your little chubby feet are so wide though and have such high arches, they are a bit hard to fit.

Still a favorite toy is your doll stroller and doll backpack.

You really like your birthday bracelets.

Sweet little cowgirl!

PS this month we started potty training too.  We have had some success but not consistently yet.  You could go to the bathroom more often than anyone I have ever met!  You just need to learn to wait and go more at one time.  And the accidents you do have almost always stop you in your tracks as you alert me.  Yeah for acknowledging them!
