As we undertake to keep up with the rest of the world and technology... we will attempt to keep our thoughts penned regularly for you here on our blog. Most importantly, we would like this to be a reflection of the love of our Faithful Saviour, Jesus Christ.

Two Christmas activities

We have enjoyed looking at lights several times this year.  Our neighborhood has put on quite a display this year.  We have also visited our old haunt in Prestonwood Forest as well as spending quite some time watching the lights and music display at the best house ever in Senterra Lakes.

The other activity was our usual Christmas performance at the church.  We had the treat this year of attending with not only my parents but also our sweet neighbors Mrs Dee and Mr Bill and Mrs Amy and Mr Frank.  My favorite by far was the 8 person grand piano performance.  Incredible!!!  (all 8 played on four grand pianos at the same time!)

moments in December

There has been some fun outside~

Lots of braiding by E (albeit David decided to have his own braid--see last photo)  Some hairstyles are quite lovely and some (E's words) are "tacky."

Meanwhile, we have done some puzzles too...

Abigail has been reading to me almost every day.

Dress up with two hoop pirate earring

Pictures taken by girls of their dolls

Crafts and time spent with Mrs. Amy across the street (who sent them home with her sweaters because the girls had traveled across the street in short sleeves and barefoot)

David attended a friend's birthday party--bowling, laser tag, and arcades

While contractors are at the hoeuse, David graciously lent us his bedroom.  Here is the sign he made for our door:

Rainy days with the gentleman holding the umbrella.

We have taken quite a few pictures of the kids at church this month too...

(a sweet reminder for David from a friend)
