a sweet Easter

Far sweeter than all the candy and the time together, was the reminder of the most precious gift Jesus gave us in rising again from the grave!  It is that resurrection that proves His faithfulness.  It is that resurrection that gives meaning to our faith in his death on the cross.  It is what gives us hope...

"And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile and you are still in your sins."                
I Corinthians 15:17

(PS: E, in particular, did enjoy globs of sweets.  D loved the adventure of the hide and seek with the easter egg hunt--even pointing E's eggs out to her.  A just liked eating the cheerios that were hiding in her eggs.  Thanks to Mrs. Irene who provided the adorable stuffed animals for the kids for Easter.)
