First tooth followed very quickly by a second bottom tooth last Wednesday. I was guessing it was coming in since Abigail refused to sleep and screamed for 2 hours at bedtime--a fact that was confirmed the next morning. No longer the "gummy" grin...
Perhaps this is why she just completely fell sound asleep DURING lunch TWICE this past week. (no, these pictures were not taken the same day)
First word. I would love to say it was Mama (which she was saying months ago), but there was never consistent application of that sound. Like David, her first word is "Dada!" She says it directly to Michael and waves her arms wildly when she sees him. It is very sweet!
First discipline. Well, that actually started a few months back but has become a bit more frequent this month as she is showing her spirited temper.
First whole milk. We have pretty much exhausted our formula stash so Abigail is now drinking whole milk (or 2% depending on what we have around). Not as fond of it as formula, but will drink it, especially when hungry.
First "real" meals. Sure, she has been eating PB&J for a while now, but now she is also eating chicken nuggets (her fave!), raisins, crackers, etc...
Abigail has the most exquisite eyes! They are big, round, and a beautiful almost-hazel color like her Daddy.
She is pulling up extremely comfortably on everything now. Including climbing out of the high chair. Almost standing on her own.
E was "babying" her a whole bunch this month. She tolerates it quite well, but occasionally gets fed up with it. She does love to play with both siblings though!
Hard to believe it has been almost a year since we brought this little Joy home from the hospital!

Sweet pictures! Yes, the time does fly indeed. You have to savor every moment with them.
