the modern generation

Abigail was playing outside.  She was wearing slightly-too-tight crocs all afternoon.  She ended up with two blisters.

To which Abigail (who just this week took out an entire package of bandaids) quickly said, "Mommy, I need an ipad.  I need an ipad."
I said, "you mean, 'a bandaid'?"
"Yes," a bandaid."
