As we undertake to keep up with the rest of the world and technology... we will attempt to keep our thoughts penned regularly for you here on our blog. Most importantly, we would like this to be a reflection of the love of our Faithful Saviour, Jesus Christ.

Abigail-isms

She likes to wear "chopstick" on her "lipstick."

She likes frosting (whipped cream) on her waffles.

"Ohhh!!!!  Mommy and I get to snuggle up," (if we have the same color plate at lunch)  or "I get to snuggle with Jesus," if her plate color does not match with anyone else's at the table.

After watching Fiddler on the Roof-- "Jewish women weren't allowed to touch Reptiles, right?"  (meaning Gentiles)

There is a song by Veggie tales that says, "If it doesn't have a tail, it's not a monkey; it's an ape!"  Abigail will belt out, "It doesn't have a tail, it's an EGG!"

When we were talking about having something and Elizabeth said she didn't need it, Abigail said, "Elizabeth, you just made a fatal mistake!"

While looking at Christmas lights, Abigail yelled, "Look!  Liberty Mutual!"  (meaning the Statue of Liberty)

Abigail was certain that one of the Santas she saw and talked to in the past few weeks couldn't be the real Santa because he had a walking stick.

And my favorite!:
We were doing grammar one day and we were working on opposites.  I asked her what the opposite of "sweet" was.  She was to find the word "sour" on her page, read it and draw a line to it.  Instead, she looked at me very seriously and said, "wound up!"
