As we undertake to keep up with the rest of the world and technology... we will attempt to keep our thoughts penned regularly for you here on our blog. Most importantly, we would like this to be a reflection of the love of our Faithful Saviour, Jesus Christ.

Queen Liliuokalani
Uh. oh. I just did the math and realized E is almost 2 1/2. I have been thinking of her as my little girl who just had her two year birthday. Yes. 5 months ago. My, how time flies!
29 months.
She imagines herself at least 30something though. She tries to mother Abigail to a fault (often ending up in a headlock as she tries to move her around or give her a hug). She also tries to feed her...off of her plate (the stuff she does not want to eat!)
Playtime with brother is "where it's at" right now though. Whether playing with blankets as capes, wearing matching shirts, watching movies, learning the skills of "two thumbs up," dressing up, zipping through an obstacle course set up by brother, or racing through the house, it is always a grand time! Laughter and nonsense is often part of this time with brother too. "Dog on your head." "Shoe on your head." "Banana on your head." Everything is "on your head" or just plain "head" attached to any word at the moment. She not only repeats what he says, but often now instigates it.
Little smarty pants has gotten a bit confused this month (which we have tried to set right). She has taken to occasionally calling us by our first names. Randomly one day, she started talking about Michael Weyler. :) Didn't even know she knew his full name. Apparently, she is still a bit confused on my name though. Because after being corrected, it became, "Margaret Mommy Weyler!" I also have to watch this little smarty because she is very clever. The other day I told her to do something. She was across the room and she said, "Excuse me, Mommy. I did not hear you." I repeated myself while getting closer. She repeated herself. This happened four times each time getting gradually closer until I had no doubt she had heard me but did not like what I was asking her to do. Very clever but not good. We talked about the consequences of such actions.
She loves her Daddy time!
And will just sit and snuggle! Especially when she has her blanket and her two fingers... And something that saddens me immensely is that she has a "blanket" and no longer a "blabbie." Her new word this month which made me laugh everytime though is "grossy" as in "Eww... Grossy! Abigail's diaper is grossy!" And yes, she does have her shoes on the wrong feet below (a regular occurence).
Chow time has become a bit less of a fight. She still does not eat a whole lot but will eat chicken nuggets again and does not fight trying new things quite as fervently. (she knows it's a battle she won't win...)
Beautiful girl even smiles for the camera most of the time these days! My, how times have changed!
What an affectionate, considerate little girl. Always "kisses, Mommy?" "Hugs, Daddy?" We love you, Bizbeth!
