Maybe it has been the challenge of homeschooling. Maybe it is the constant discipline needed for all three- particularly the middle sweetheart. (see Judges 17:6). Maybe it is the long hours put in by my faithful husband at the office.
Whatever the reason, this month is almost non-existent. Probably a good thing, because I have had a hard enough time keeping up with other things.
Here is Miss Cricket...David's weekday teacher for so many years and one very special lady. She loves David so unconditionally. She is moving this week. We will sorely miss her!
I was overwhelmed again this month by the blessing this church has been in our lives. We are up there all the time for various activities, but we have not put kids in the preschool or MDO there. And yet, during weekday childcare for the gym or other activities, my kids have been included in the preschool activities like chapel, petting zoo, fire truck walk-through etc... How cool! (and this all apart from the spiritual growth going on)
The two favorite toys these days are still legos and dress-up clothes. The masks were a big hit. David was convinced that he must be a ninja and decried Zorro. However, after I mentioned his resemblance to Zorro again for the severalth time, he finally said, "Mommy, what does Zorro look like?" I pulled up a picture of Zorro online. His first words were, "Mommy! Zorro has a sword! I guess I will be Zorro!!!" So there you have it; it was all about the weapons.
PS we had pb&j sandwiches twice today. They are regularly requested for at least two meals a day, and today I broke down and gave in.
