As we undertake to keep up with the rest of the world and technology... we will attempt to keep our thoughts penned regularly for you here on our blog. Most importantly, we would like this to be a reflection of the love of our Faithful Saviour, Jesus Christ.

July in snippets

We finished our house completely (aside from the sprinkler that is still not fixed) on Monday the 18th.  So nice to be free of contractors!!!  But despite the house construction, we still managed to fit a lot in this month.

This post will encompass the oddball snippets from July.

We spent a lot of time at the pool...well, the pool in the backyard.  You didn't know we had one?  Yes, well, check it out!  The swing makes it even more fun since you can swing and jump into the pool.  Even Daddy got into the action.

We did go to the neighborhood pool a few times too.  David is now getting pretty good with his swimming.  He still doesn't have his breathing down so he would struggle in the deep end where he can't touch the bottom, but with a snorkel he can swim the length of the pool several times.  And without it, we watched him closely as he swam back and forth in the shallow end.  Hopefully next summer will finish the job.  And maybe bring some more freedom for E.  And little A is a little daredevil who has no fear and jumps into deep end.  She went down an intimidating, steep, fast slide at Sue's pool over and over.

There was a lot of H&K (hugs and kisses) by Daddy.

We can't forget Chickfila Day...

Lots of legos...

David with swords and mom!

David went to his cousin Colin's birthday party.  They raced go karts.  David's first time to do this and well the youngest child and in one of the races he came in first!

The kids all lined themselves up (not my prompting) at the door one day on the way out to church.  Hilarious!  David went with us to service a couple of times this month too.

Impromptu pictures when Mom and both girls ended up dressing alike accidentally.

Pictures wearing the latest Amazon review...leis.  And then there were the hair pins.  Lovely E modeled those.

And last but certainly not least... Our one-month-shy-from-eight-year-old lost his first tooth!  Was a bit worried about this since we have been told he is likely missing 4 adult teeth.  But the top adult tooth just started breaking through and pushed the baby tooth right out.  It was Abigail's birthday cupcakes that finished off the job.
