As we undertake to keep up with the rest of the world and technology... we will attempt to keep our thoughts penned regularly for you here on our blog. Most importantly, we would like this to be a reflection of the love of our Faithful Saviour, Jesus Christ.

As a follow-up

For those of you who were not in Sunday school last week, I had the great blessing to be able to share my side of our struggle with infertility. One of the lessons God taught me in those 5 years was that He is sufficient. Nothing else should or could fill me the way He does; i.e. other things like a baby, job, house, health or other circumstances.

I thought these verses I read this morning were a good "reflection" of what I was trying to say.

Psalm 17 :14-15 "...men of the world who have their portion in this life, and whose belly You fill with Your hidden treasure. They are satifisfied with children, and leave the rest of their possession for their babes. As for me, I will see Your face in righteousness; I shall be satisfied when I awake in Your likeness."

meaning...while I could run after treasures in this world, like children and the possessions I leave them, ultimately, it should be He who satisfies. I want to reflect him and be satisfied in that alone.
