I had been told by my pediatrician with David that 3-6 months was the "Gerber baby" stage - everyone wants another baby/when babies are at their best. David was about a month late on that one. Elizabeth seems right on time though!
While we had been getting 8-9 hours at a crack sleeping with E, she never slept through the night (no matter how late she was put to bed). She always woke up at 3-4 am. Suddenly, 3 months hit and she now sleeps 12+ hours each night from 6:30ish pm to 6:30 or 7 or even 8 am. She also started making the sweetest sounds a couple of days ago and is far more content (most of the time--if not tired or hungry). Perhaps the bump up in formula supplementing has helped on both fronts too; my baby is no longer hungry. Ah, if we could only get her to be willing to nap in the carseat, or at friend's houses, or anywhere--other than the crib...
(PS the bow was an afterthought to remind everyone that she is a girl, despite her blue shirt)
