As we undertake to keep up with the rest of the world and technology... we will attempt to keep our thoughts penned regularly for you here on our blog. Most importantly, we would like this to be a reflection of the love of our Faithful Saviour, Jesus Christ.

a career in architecture

David shows great promise in the field of architecture.  He absolutely LOVES to build things.

Blocks

Legos (especially lego guns--shield below)

Designs on his plate with his food

Tangrams for school

He even came down one day with his magnetic numbers on a board.  I was thinking that he was showing promise in the addition we had been working on.  No.  The whole board was laid out thus.
He then proceeded to tell me that "here was his room" and "here was Bizbeth's and Abigail's rooms."  He even had a spot for the stairs.  Yes, he had used the numbers to design the upstairs living space.

The only thing that can match his love of construction right now is dressing up.  He dons pirate costumes, middle eastern outfits, and cowboy attire.  The favorite outfits always involve some weapon.  What a boy!  Oh, and he adores his lego starwars and superman shirts.  He would wear nothing else out and about if given the choice.

School is going.  Some days better than others.  We have taken some breaks over the past few weeks due to a week of family sickness, visits from grandparents, and other such distractions.  This is the beauty of homeschooling.  A lightbulb has come on in his head though so that he is starting to put some of the months of lessons into practice as the pieces are coming together.  I even caught him trying to sound out a word the other day.  :)

God has a sweet plan for this child that was so desperately longed for...
