David played basketball again this season. He has definitely improved. We focused on his attitude first and foremost (last year his perfectionist nature got the better of him). His goal: to win the white star (or at least be deserving of it) every game. White star = Christlike-ness award. He did indeed win it several times and only had one or two moments of frustration. As well as that, he learned the difference between playing offense and defense. Defense is where he excels but sometimes it was through mad ninja moves or other wild distractions. My little flutterbug is still a bit of a flutterbug on court.
