I discovered a few weeks in that our church was providing FLC childcare this summer for older kids. This has given me more flexibility to my workout schedule. And the kids have had a fantastic time! On Tuesdays, they get to go to the church library for storytime and to pet the dogs. There have been splash days, snow cone days, movies and popcorn, as well as lots of friends to play with.
We celebrated July 4th with a few days off for Daddy. Slot cars and red, white, and blue.
There were quite a few pictures of my little curly-tops. More on that in a different post.
Speaking of hair, E has become my hairstylist. My attempt to grow out my hair has resulted in lots of braids, pigtails, a few pulled hairs and pictures taken by E. Who wouldn't want to look like this???
July also brought more swimming. I have three little brownies to show for it. If only we could all tan so nicely... And their swimming ability has continued to improve. All three kids love to dive for rings/rods. It is a competition that used to result in tears by all except the winner, David, but as the girls have improved in skill, so has their ability to "bring back the gold."
There was also the usual stuff~
Legos (the chess set David came up with from his imagination was phenomenal!):
Ponies mixed with duplos:
And, of course, posing with an octopus:
There were quite a few other activities this month too but they all deserve their own post: A's birthday, camp, curlers, and a couple of mini vacations. One more month to go...

Your hair has gotten long and it looks good in curls. If you were a stranger on the street, I would think it was natural.
