As we undertake to keep up with the rest of the world and technology... we will attempt to keep our thoughts penned regularly for you here on our blog. Most importantly, we would like this to be a reflection of the love of our Faithful Saviour, Jesus Christ.

a ninth birthday that got lost in the following madness

David had a wonderful week of birthday celebration this year (August).  We tried something different and celebrated with one gift everyday until the final (actual) day of his birthday.  He had a great time and got to "play" with the gift of the day before the next one arrived.

Gram and GDaddy kicked it all off by coming a week before the birthday.  We celebrated with cake and a present from them.

Each day thereafter added another gift. (the wrappings this year didn't amount to much.  Sorry, D!)  At least we know my son changes his clothes each day.  ;)  He received an assortment of books, a Star Wars watch, legos, a video game, a light remote control for nightside, books on cd, a claw grabber, and a huge nerf gun to add to his far-too-vast collection.

Happy Belated Birthday, son!  We are so proud of you!
