On our "second day of Christmas", Michael's parents and his sister Sarah and hubby Rich came in from D.C. His sister Susan and hubby Paul came up from Meyerland with their two boys, Caleb and Colin.
We enjoyed a soup dinner and some fellowship time and then the young uns' (meaning Rich and Sarah and the Jr. Weylers--us--) went out to look at Christmas lights. As is typical, we found ourselves wandering over to Prestonwood Forest to check out their annual "Nite of Lights." We made the rounds and saw more decorated blocks this year than last: including The Night Before Christmas in Texas, The Twelve Days of Christmas in Texas, The Patriotic Christmas (which won best block this year), and my favorite--The Nativity Story. (shhh....don't tell the authorities they have this one still) People go all out on this. One house had even turned their front door into a fireplace. Then home again, home again and off to bed.
