Her favorite phrase most definitely is "Happened, Mommy?" She is super observant and when she sees me looking unhappy or sees a situation not working out quite right or hears that particular questioning voice, she wants to know what happened.
She is still the little Mommy who naturally wants to help take care of Abigail (not always so helpfully) and help me out.
This help does not equate to the area of eating, unfortunately! She is still very much an extremely picky eater who will go on hunger strike for meals at a time if she does not like the options. Clever little girl now asks to go "night night" if she does not like the food. :)
Almost always camera skiddish, it is incredibly hard to get a sweet picture of her smiling for the camera, but occasionally...
Always a "Daddy's girl," she is definitely loving on Mommy more now...which I love!
Biz and David play pretty well together now. There are many moments of pushing up against the other person just to irritate them, but they also love to chase each other around the house in games of hide and seek.
Elizabeth is quite active but will stop and play by herself or with David. She loves puzzles! She even sits still occasionally.
We have had far fewer temper tantrums as she has learned to communicate so much better--almost entirely lucidly.
There was that time though... As we were traveling in the car, Biz was chattering away. We could recognize a few words but not most of them this time. David said, "Mommy, why does sister not speak my word?" That just made me giggle because it was as if David thought Biz was speaking a different language altogether!
Next month's birthday will finally justify all her advanced skills. But for this month, she is my super brilliant, headstrong but affectionate little girl!
