Purposeful walking

We are once again participating in the Carenet Walk for Life this Saturday.  This is one of the two annual fundraisers for the organization.  Carenet Crisis Pregnancy Center has been an important part of our lives for the last 10 years.  I first began counseling there about 10 years ago and saw the hearts and lives changed of many girls...even having the privilege to lead several to Christ.  Michael also did some counseling with the men starting a few years later.  Although time and children have kept me from being in the counseling room, Michael still continues very active involvement as a member of the Board of Directors there.  We have never ceased to support this ministry that not only helps girls with material needs but also attempts to meet the spiritual needs as well.  

Currently Carenet is weeks away from opening a second location in Cypress.  This means the opportunity to reach girls and their spheres of influence is broadening!  Often not only the girls are impacted but also the baby's father, other family members, and friends.
