As we undertake to keep up with the rest of the world and technology... we will attempt to keep our thoughts penned regularly for you here on our blog. Most importantly, we would like this to be a reflection of the love of our Faithful Saviour, Jesus Christ.

lethargic elf and other happenings: busy week before Christmas

Our week with family before Christmas was only slightly less busy since M's sister and family had their flight Sunday canceled.  They arrived on Monday and we started immediately with a visit to Sonic, dinner and then lights in Prestonwood.  There were lots of other activities that first week.

Tuesday, the boys went laser tagging for an early Christmas present from the Leeds.  Meanwhile, Aunt Sarah gave the girls a lovely hairstyle fit for any princess.  There was video gaming and lots of cousin time.  And I came outside at one point to find David high in one of our trees trying to get a ball out.  That boy is a monkey!  (the picture below was caught after he started climbing down)

Wednesday was spent mostly chilling at the house as well as the transfer--our houseguests to Susan's house and new ones arriving.  Michael picked up Mom and Dad from the airport and we took a rare opportunity to go out with just the adults for a nice dinner and a coffee house afterward.

We had one other major outing before Christmas Eve but that deserves its own post...
