As we undertake to keep up with the rest of the world and technology... we will attempt to keep our thoughts penned regularly for you here on our blog. Most importantly, we would like this to be a reflection of the love of our Faithful Saviour, Jesus Christ.

3.4 months

i.e. 3 years 4 months.

I do agree with Aunt Shayna; there has been a huge progression in speech this month. All sentences are pretty much complete and understandable and the vocabulary is growing. A few phrases we hear: "That's right!" "Oh, man..." "I be sweet" "I love you so much!" !!!! He loves to pretend he can spell and is constantly saying random letters as if he is spelling a word.

He always wants to go to church.

David now dresses himself quite well. He started wearing t-shirts like a grown boy this month too. When we say something he does not like, he will take his finger and go "poopoo" as if he is shooting a gun at us. He has been spanked several times for his disrespect and will continue to be. He also often cries for either his blankie or the other parent now when we spank him.

There is hope that David may end up potty trained after all! One morning, he kept underwear dry all morning (with a few trips to the bathroom). He has also stopped playing/eating dinner/etc...to tell me he has to go to the bathroom (even when in a diaper) and then proceeds to go! Absolutely no closer to going poopy in the potty, but there is hope! David is starting to play a bit with his sister "Bizbeth." She adores him when he is playing sweetly. David had a great time this month with many of his cousins! He also loved to help decorate the Christmas tree like a big boy (still that struggle between wanting to be a big boy and a baby though). I love my son so much!!!

I love the sibling pics...especially the first two. They remind me of our sibling pics too. :) And yay for potty training progress...he will get there. :)
