As we undertake to keep up with the rest of the world and technology... we will attempt to keep our thoughts penned regularly for you here on our blog. Most importantly, we would like this to be a reflection of the love of our Faithful Saviour, Jesus Christ.

Christmas Day in two parts: part 1

We celebrated our first part of Christmas just as an immediate family by attending our church Christmas service (on Christmas eve). Suprise! No childcare. Cute children almost made up for the disruption we experienced in the church lobby.

The next morning we awoke to a leisurely breakfast and the opening of stockings. David was thrilled at the idea of opening all his dollar store gifts this year. (among them, several grow-in-water animals; he was convinced the alligator in the egg was real) I loved the focused expression he has while trying to open his gifts. Michael appreciated his 8-in-one screwdriver, and E? She just loved her bottle!

No one wanted to pose for pictures, although David did try to help us to get E to laugh by climbing on his Daddy's head and shaking his M&M bottle. He was pretty successful!
